Tips & Tricks for Dealing with Acne-Prone Skin
If you’ve been living with acne-prone skin, you know what a nightmare it can be. It’s unpredictable and uncomfortable, not to mention the impact on self-esteem. Luckily there are some things you can do to create a whole health skin routine and take control.
1. Create a night-time routine.
Every night, wash your face, tone and balance it and make sure that you moisturize! Many people with oily skin skip moisturizing, but it helps; if you’re leaving your skin dry, it’ll kick oil production into over-drive and make your skin oilier. If you use a moisturizer like Egyptian Magic, healthy oils will protect your skin and reduce your own oil production.
2. Drink water.
Dehydration can strike your skin and cause you to have dry, flaky layers of skin over your new skin. This traps dirt, oil, and moisture, often leading to increased incidences of acne.
3. Change your pillow case.
Frequently change your pillow so you aren’t putting your face up against dust, dirt, and oil. There’s no point to putting a fresh clean face onto something dirty!
4. Avoid touching your face.
Even if you wash your hands, they pick up dirt and bacteria. Though it can be difficult to do, make it a habit to avoid touching your face except with just washed hands.
Keep in mind that medical treatment is sometimes necessary if your acne becomes excessive, but for the most part you should be able to treat it with the above steps. To get started on your journey, learn more about what Egyptian Magic can do for you.
